Julia ran to 251 pp. Demy 8vo (c. 90K words) prelims included, price £2.10, with seven chapters and forty-three scene breaks. The jacket front was a full-page watercolour by Phyllis Ginger showing a summery Regent Street busy with people, cars and buses, and two girls, a blonde and a brunette in pink and black respectively, standing chatting at the entrance to number 130, the Galeries Lafayette’s Carrington Building (sic). The white jacket back carried the standard ‘Critics all over the world...’ puff in red and black.
